Fulton County Transit Master Plan Open House

The Fulton County Transit Master Plan project team has compiled information and community feedback from various community meetings, surveys and outreach efforts. The team will be hosting the final two Open House community meetings in South Fulton County, to be held at the following times and locations:

  • Thursday, January 18th – 6:30 p.m.
    • South Fulton County Service Center
    • 600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, Georgia 30349

  • Wednesday, January 24th – 6:30 p.m.
    • College Park City Hall
    • 3667 Main Street, College Park, Georgia 30337

Following last year’s ¾-cent TSPLOST effort in Fulton County, the Mayors of the 14 cities, outside of Atlanta, and the Fulton County Commission affirmed that a plan was needed to determine potential expansion of transit services in Fulton County. The Mayors and County approached the Atlanta Regional Commission to help fund and manage the study in collaboration with MARTA, Fulton County, and the 14 participating cities.

The Fulton County Transit Master Plan will include a review of each City’s community and economic development strategies, an analysis of existing transit services and needs, and the development of a financial model to determine the potential for expanded transit services within Fulton County.
