Airport Atlanta Fire Rescue Department to Simulate and Extinguish Plane Fire
Training exercise is part of annual certification for Airport rescue firefighters

WHO: Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and firefighters

WHAT: This is a notification of the live fire burns that Atlanta Fire Rescue Airport
Training Division has scheduled for the weeks of March 17 and March 24.

NOTES: This is strictly a TRAINING EXERCISE.
There will be heavy dark smoke as a result of this drill that can be seen from the
interstate which may cause a high volume of phone calls from motorists and
residents.

WHEN: Thursday, March 20, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Monday, March 24, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 25, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: AFRD Training Facility (Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport)
