Please join us on Monday, May 27, 2019 to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the United States Military. The service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Hoyt Smith Center, located at 3444 N. Fulton Ave., Hapeville, GA 30354.
The program will begin with Hapeville Public Safety Posting of the colors. The Star Spangled Banner and The Songs of Service performed by vocalist Mayor Alan Hallman, Alderman at Large Mike Rast, Councilman Mark Adams and Jimmy Lovern. America the Beautiful and My Country, Tis of Thee performed by vocalist Fracena Byrd. VFW State Commander Charles A. (Tony) Dobbins will be our speaker. Commander Dobbins spent 20 plus years on active duty in the US Army from 1974-1995. Lew Valero will recognize the Hapeville War Dead and he and Steve Lamb will place the wreath. Mahala Broad will complete the program by performing "Taps".
Refreshments will be provided by the Hapeville Historical Society and the Hapeville Service League immediately following the service. Flags will be provided by the Hapeville Exchange Club.
