The Alcohol Review Board is responsible for overseeing the licensing process for all alcohol beverage licenses in the City of Hapeville. The City issues three types of licenses on-premises consumption, retail sales, and package.
Application for a new license must be submitted no later than the 1st Monday of the month. Any application submitted after the 1st Monday of the month will not be consider until the following month’s meeting.
After the applicantion has been submitted with all necessary documents and all departments have submitted appropriate reports, the application will be placed on the Alcohol Review Board Agenda. At this meeting the Alcohol Beverage Clerk will deem the application complete and the Board will have a chance to review the application. The applicant will then be required to place an advertisement in the legal organ of the City (South Fulton Newspaper) for a public hearing to be held at the next Alcohol Review Board meeting. At this meeting the Alcohol Review Board will hear comments from the public and will discuss the application. The Board will grant, deny, or table the application.
Once the license is granted the applicant will need to come to City Hall to pay all appropriate licensing fees.
