Voting Eligibilty

You can register to vote online at the Georgia Secretary of State's website click here.  
You are eligible to vote in Georgia if you are:

  • A Citizen of the United States;
  • A Legal Resident;
  • At Least 18 years old (May register at 17 1/2 years old);
  • Have not been found to be mentally incompetent byt he court;
  • Are not serving a sentence for a felony of moral turpitude;
  • Meet all other State requirements, such as showing a Photo ID.

Ways to Vote

Voters have two ways to cast a ballot prior to Election Day:

  • Absentee Vote By Mail
Request for absentee ballot can be made by mail or fax.  Ballots should be mailed to Fulton County Voters Registration, Attn: Absentee Ballot, 130 Peachtree St., SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303.  Fax number is (404) 730-8839

  • Early Voting Schedule       
    • Voters can cast ballots weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. beginning Monday, April 30 - Friday, May 18, 2018 at select Fulton County locations;  
    • Voters can cast ballots on SATURDAYS, May 5th and 12th from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on SUNDAY, May 6th - Noon to 5:00 p.m.

  • Cast Ballot
    • Eligible voters can cast a ballot during the general election held on November 6th.   The Hapeville Polling precinct is located at the Hoyt Smith Conference Center at 3444 North Fulton Avenue, Hapeville, GA 30354.
