2015 Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance Key Initiatives
Hapeville is a proud member of the Alliance!

In early 2015, the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance ?AAA? selected Jacobs Engineering Group to develop the Atlanta Aerotropolis Blueprint, or the strategic plan to improve the economic vitality and infrastructure of the area around the Airport ?ATL? for the Alliance Board.

Currently Jacobs is making edits and working on incorporating feedback from Board members into the Plan. The Aerotropolis Board voted to retain/extend Jacobs services to complete the Blue Print with the expectation of a completed document and executive summary/brochure to be delivered to the Alliance Board no later than end of first quarter 2016.   Board Members are currently providing feedback.

As part of the process, several Visioning/Charrrette Sessions were held for input and feedback. Hapeville elected officials and Hapeville staff/consultants participated in several sessions. An Airport Area Task Force Open House public meeting was also held to encourage additional regional input.  The City of Hapeville Council voted in October to approve the BluePrint Plan in concept.

The Alliance Board—Branding & Marketing Project Update:
The Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance Board members charged the Marketing & Events Committee with developing a process for the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance brand/logo makeover to assist with branding the initiative and broadening the audience for all of the communities within the area. Jones Worley has begun development of a logo and user style guide working closely with the Marketing Sub-Committee and the Board--expectations are to have conceptual images/messaging to the Board by year end.
