KaBOOM! Project
Remember when a playground was more than a playground? It was a place where the imagination would go wild and a place to meet new friends. This is exactly what KaBOOM! sees as a playground, a brain-expander, friend-maker and muscle builder. Let's give our community kids the same experience we had on the playground.

Since 1996, KaBOOM! has been dedicated to the bold goal of giving all kids the childhood they deserve, filled with balanced and active play. KaBOOM! is a national non-profit dedicated to bring balanced and active play into the daily lives of all kids, particularly those growing up in poverty in America. KaBOOM!'s vision is that all kids get the childhood they deserve filled with balanced and active play so they can thrive.

Let's #CelebrateHapeville and show our kids that #PlayMatters!

Collaborating to Create A Playful Environment
The City of Hapeville was fortunate to receive this grant to build a playground in Master Park. With the help of parents, advocates, and Target, KaBOOM! will ensure that kids have the opportunity to play every day.

Target is proud to partner with KaBOOM! to help accelerate efforts that move every child in America to play every day - at home, at school and in the community. Target is committed to helping make wellness a way of life for its team members, guests and communities and the work with KaBOOM! is a critical step in helping achieve this goal.

You too can join in as a community volunteer for the entire day, or visit any time of the day as an observer. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 2:30 p.m. If you are unable to attend, join the conversation online on Build Day (October 14th) using the hashtags #playmatters and #celebrateHapeville!
