The City of Hapeville Water Department will begin their semiannual flushing of fire hydrants beginning on October 15th, 2018. The Water Department will flush during the evening hours starting around 7:00 PM. We do not anticipate any problems; however, structures with old iron waterlines may experience discolored water during this period. This effect is not hazardous and can be remedied by letting the cold water run for a few minutes.
