[ARCHIVED] Hapeville Celebrates Black History Featuring OkCello

The second and final installment of Hapeville Celebrates Black History will include a very special live performance by cellist Okorie "OkCello" Johnson. OkCello is an Atlanta-based cellist-songwriter, looper, improviser, and storyteller who has been featured in InStyle and Atlanta Magazines, and has participated in numerous collaborations, including with the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Emory University, and Flux Projects and has performed and recorded with numerous award-winning artists, including Maxwell, Van Hunt, India.Arie, De La Soul, and Big Boi of Outkast. This event will start at 3pm and end at 6pm.

A second showing of the Black History Month art exhibition at the Academy Theatre and the Hapeville Depot Museum will be open before and after the performance from 2-5 PM.
