The course begins on August 6th at 6:00 pm . It last 8 weeks and meets every Thursday.
Requirements are:
Must be a resident or a business owner in the City.
Must fill out a questionnaire and submit to background investigation.
The course will discuss topics such as:
Communications
Investigations
Criminal Justice System (overview)
Laws of Arrest
Use of Force
Search and Seizure
Patrol Division and Traffic Enforcement
Procedures when dealing with juveniles
The course concludes on September 24th, 2009.
