The City of Hapeville offers two types of Mobile Food Vendor Permits:
Application Requirements:To apply for a Mobile Food Vendor Permit, applicants must submit the following:
✅ Completed Application Form – Ensure you select the appropriate permit type.✅ Executed Indemnity Agreement (PDF) – This document releases the City of Hapeville, its employees, agents, and elected officials from liability related to Mobile Food Vendor activities.✅ County Health Department & Fire Safety Approvals – A copy of an approved permit from the local County Health Department and a Fire Safety Certificate of Inspection.✅ Proof of Liability Insurance – Coverage must be at least $1,000,000.00. If the vendor does not have individual insurance, they may operate under an existing business policy with proper documentation.

A Mobile Food Vendor may not operate on private property without obtaining prior written consent from the property owner. Additionally, overnight parking on private property is prohibited unless explicitly approved in writing by the owner. Property owners must provide a signed letter of consent confirming their authorization for the vendor to use their property.
A Mobile Food Vendor may operate in the public right-of-way only if legal parking is permitted and it does not obstruct traffic. The City of Hapeville Police Department will determine whether the vendor’s presence impedes traffic flow. Vendors must be positioned in a safe and accessible location for patrons and are not permitted to park on sidewalks. Parking on public, city-owned grass areas is allowed only with prior approval from the City Manager at the time of application.
A Mobile Food Vendor may operate on City-owned property only if the following conditions are met: The City Manager has granted permission. The vendor has specified the City-owned location, date, and use times on the application. At no time shall a Mobile Food Vendor be permitted to park overnight on any City-owned property.
