4. Introduction: The Business of the Month spotlight is a courtesy program in which City businesses are featured by the City of Hapeville in the City Customer Finance Services lobby. Participating businesses will be randomly selected and featured for 30 days. Not all businesses will be selected. During certain special observances or holidays, the City may choose at its sole discretion to showcase more than one business during a 3–day period.

    I acknowledge and agree that I am legally capable and legally authorized to act on behalf of the business listed in the foregoing online request form to participate in the Business Spotlight program. I and the named business understand and hereby grant permission to the City of Hapeville to use the business name, logo, website, menu, photographs, and any other materials provided through this form for the purpose of promotional activities, including but not limited to the City’s website, social media, lobby displays, newsletters, and other written or promotional publications or materials. I and the named business agree to hold harmless and indemnify the City for any claims that may result from participation in the Business Spotlight Program and the publication of materials that are provided to the City.  It is understood that submission of business information and online presence information are required to participate in the Business Spotlight Program. It is also understood that there is no guarantee by the City nor any representative thereof, that the named business will be selected as Business of the Month, and that all materials submitted on behalf of the named business may be edited for clarity or formatting and posted used by the City without prior consent from the business. I and the named business waive all claims of any kind, both known and unknown, and agree not to seek legal action or damages against the City of Hapeville for any cause or claim in law or in equity that results or is based on participation in the Business Spotlight program.

    In order to participate in the Business Spotlight Program, you and the named business must agree to the terms of participation and complete and submit all required information requested in this the form. The City reserves the right, at the City’s sole discretion, to change the terms for participation in the Business Spotlight Program or discontinue the program at any time.
